Kamel Greene is a dual-use technology innovator and two-time founder from East Palo Alto, California. He is the CEO and Founder of Poly Platform, a venture-backed company that utilizes Blockchain and AI to digitize the city and serve as a one-stop-shop for city residents and officials. Kamel is also the CEO of FibrX, a corrosion detection ecosystem that uses patented technology developed at the US Naval War Center to create a physical asset health detection ecosystem using fiber optics and cloud computing. Kamel holds a master's degree in Public Administration and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University, where he was a Division I football player. He gained valuable experience working for the U.S. Department of Energy in the National Security space and has worked for several tech companies. Kamel's leadership skills were recognized when he and his team won the Best Startup Award at the One Utah Summit Conference, and the Governor of Utah personally awarded him. Kamel and his team were also selected for the inaugural Techstars Washington DC Accelerator in 2022, powered by JP Morgan, and the University of Maryland Blockchain Accelerator in 2023. Kamel has led and collaborated on multiple projects and initiatives that have improved the efficiency, transparency, and digital infrastructure of local governments and communities. His passion for deep tech, government, politics, national security, and defense fuels his desire to use his skills to foster growth and change in the world.
