Josh Embree

Josh Embree is the CEO of Innovative Precision and Metal Technology specializing in precision machining, deep draw forming, and forging of various metals. Josh partnered with the Cumming Capital Management team to build and grow a metals manufacturing platform focused on the aerospace and defense industries. Innovative Precision, in Ogden, UT, is finalizing plans to more than double campus capacity to accommodate growth of the platform.

Throughout his career, Josh has demonstrated success in building and growing businesses through customer performance improvement, operational excellence, organizational transformations, and business development effectiveness.

During his time at Raytheon, Josh held leadership roles of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations, supply chain, and program management across the Space & Airborne Systems, Integrated Defense Systems and Missile Systems businesses. While at the corporate office, Josh was responsible for Raytheon’s companywide manufacturing strategy and won the Raytheon Six Sigma CEO Award for accomplishments within the manufacturing network optimization and utilization improvement initiatives across Raytheon’s worldwide footprint.

Josh earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and his master’s degree in Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
