Jacob Andra is the founder of Talbot West, a provider of artificial intelligence solutions for the defense and aerospace industries. In his role as Chief Innovation Officer, Andra pushes the limits of the possible with Talbot West’s Cognitive Hive AI framework, a modular, configurable approach to solving military pain points with bespoke AI and machine learning solutions.
Andra believes that American industry and government need to be more collaborative and agile to out-innovate our adversaries, and he brings a win-win mindset to 47G. His thesis is that the coming AI and technology boom will create unprecedented opportunities, and that the pie will grow through collaborative competition. He’s bullish on the ability of AI to supercharge American defense capabilities, both in conventional theaters of war as well as gray zone warfare.
Andra writes and publishes extensively on technological, economic, and geopolitical topics. When not writing, advancing American tech, or engineering AI swarms, he loves to spend time in Utah’s outdoors, play pickleball, and travel.
